Welcome to Petone Toastmasters

Welcome to 2018!

Did you make a resolution to get over your fear of public speaking?

Stand in front of people and get your idea or story across?

Learn how to communicate those idea's to a group?

Or just to see if you can get rid of those nerves when you have to get up and speak?

Bad new first - the club is on hiatis over the holidays (even we need a break).

Good news - Our first club meeting next year is Tuesday 16th January 2018.

So if have the resolution ready to go, or just want to improve your public speaking skills, come along and see us then.

We'd love to meet you.

We are a friendly club based in the Hutt Valley, with a diverse membership of background and experience.

Our club can support you in your journey to improve your communication, public speaking and leadership skills.

Chartered in June 2000 by long term members Dave Stonyer and Denis McCord, we have been helping people gain confidence by finding their voice!

By joining Toastmasters, you can learn how to:

Overcome the fear of public speaking!
Build confidence!
Make new friends!
Prepare for that special event!
Do something new or different!

We welcome guests to come along and find out for yourself what Petone Toastmasters is all about.

We meet every Tuesday at 6:00pm in the ground floor of the Petone Community House for a meeting start time of 6:15pm. Visitors from other Toastmasters clubs are also welcome to attend.

The Mission of the Club:
"We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth."

Petone Toastmasters is a New Zealand club located in Lower Hutt, Wellington and is part of Area 7, Division J, District 72.
